Indian Army helicopter crashes in occupied Kashmir

According to Indian media reports, an Indian army helicopter crashed in occupied Kashmir, but both pilots survived the crash.

An Indian Army 2 Fifty Four AA helicopter crashed near the Ranjit Sagar Dam in occupied Kashmir.

Indian media say police and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene after an army helicopter was reported to have crashed into a lake.

The Kathua district SSP said there was no information on the number of people on board the helicopter.

It should be recalled that in January this year, an Indian army helicopter crashed in the Khanpur district of Kathua, near the border between Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, causing the death of a pilot.

The HL Dharo helicopter crashed after a technical failure, after a MiG-21 Heisen crashed in Suratgarh, Rajasthan, in January while landing.
