South Indian actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, currently promoting his upcoming film ‘Akhanda 2’, recently met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The actor was accompanied by the entire star cast of the film.
During the meeting, Balakrishna presented CM Adityanath with a trishul, a traditional trident. This specific trishul is expected to be featured as a weapon in the upcoming movie.
The film’s cast also offered the Chief Minister a deity idol and other gifts. These exchanges took place at Yogi Adityanath’s residence in Lucknow on Sunday.
Director Boyapati Srinu was also present during the high-profile meeting. Other members of the ‘Akhanda 2’ cast attended as well.
‘Akhanda 2’ is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 hit film ‘Akhanda’. Balakrishna is set to portray a double role in the new installment.
The cast also includes Bollywood actress Harshali Malhotra and actress Sanyukta. The film is generating significant buzz among fans.
‘Akhanda 2’ is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5.
