The result of the third T20 between India and Afghanistan was not one but two Super Overs. In the first game, both teams scored 212 runs and led to a draw, after which the first Super Over took place. In the first Super Over, both teams scored 16 runs each and there was another draw, and in the second Super Over, India won by 10 runs. Ravi Bishnoi bowled the second Super Over for India.

In the second Super, Team India scored 11 runs under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Then, while chasing the target, Ravi Bishnoi allowed Afghanistan to score just one run, clinching the game in India's favour. The competition was breathtaking. Bishnoi defeated Afghanistan by taking two wickets in just three balls.

In the third T20 played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, India won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 212 runs in 20 overs for 4 wickets on the board. For the team, captain Rohit Sharma played the biggest innings with 121* runs in 69 balls including 11 fours and 8 sixes. Furthermore, Rinku Singh scored 69* runs in 39 balls by hitting 2 fours and 6 sixes. During this period, Farid Ahmed picked up a maximum of three wickets for Afghanistan.

Chasing the target, Afghanistan leveled the game by scoring 212 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In this, Gulbadin Naib played the biggest innings of 55* runs for the Afghan team, including four fours and four sixes. Furthermore, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran, who came at the start, scored 50-50 runs. Meanwhile, Washington Sundar took a maximum of three wickets for India.
