India is set to host the Miss World pageant for the second year in a row, with this year’s event taking place in Hyderabad from May 10 to May 31. Last year’s competition was held in Mumbai.
India Takes Center Stage
The event will kick off on May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium with a grand opening ceremony and conclude on May 31 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The Telangana government is busy with the preparations.
India has previously hosted the Miss World pageant in 1996 in Bangalore. By hosting the event consecutively, India becomes the second country after the UK to do so since its inception in 1951.
Nandini Gupta to Represent India
Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan will represent India at Miss World 2025. India’s back-to-back hosting showcases its growing influence in the global beauty and event industry, as well as its cultural strength and world-class infrastructure.
