The deceased has been identified as Prince Raj, an employee of a private airline. Her friend Lone was injured in the accident and is currently fighting a life-and-death battle at a private hospital in the capital.
The late Prince Raj, who was celebrating his birthday today, had reportedly arrived at Patna Airport with his friend Lone to attend a program on the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Najia Airlines. Meanwhile, the accident occurred in which he was killed on the spot and his friend was seriously injured.
Eyewitnesses said the two victims got out of a taxi at gate number one of the airport and were on their way to the scene when an electric bus connected to the city bus service suddenly arrived. The bus was very fast. The prince got under the steering wheel of the car and the woman fell some distance after the collision.
According to the Indian media “We have registered an FIR against the stray driver and arrested him,” said an officer stationed at the Patna airport police station.
