India vs West Indies 1st Test:The Indian team has started the new cycle of the World Test Championship with a great victory. The India team finished the first Test of the series against the West Indies in 3 days and won it by one innings and 141 runs. In this victory, Ravichandran Ashwin took a total of 12 wickets in the match, playing an important role with the ball. At the same time, Team India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambre spoke about Jasprit Bumrah’s absence from the team during the post-victory press conference.

Jasprit Bumrah has not yet been able to return to the field due to the stress problem in his back just before the T20 World Cup in the year 2022. Bowling coach Paras Mhambrey said in his statement that in the last year or year and a half, the bowler the team lacked the most in all three formats is Jasprit Bumrah.

Paras Mhambre said in his statement that if we look at the last year and a half, Bumrah is one of the players we have missed the most. On the other hand, regarding the management of the bowlers’ workload, he said that so far there is no discussion on who will play red ball cricket and who will play limited overs cricket, but taking into account the load of work from our players, we will give them break even more, so that new players can have a chance to play. We will also have an opportunity and with this we will be able to strengthen our bench strength.
