India Secures Undefeated Win in ICC T20 World Cup

The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, won the T20 World Cup 2024 by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final match held on 29 June at the Kensington Oval ground in Barbados. The Indian team had shown impressive performance throughout the tournament, starting with the group stage, Super 8 round, and then the semi-finals. In the history of the T20 World Cup, this is the first time an Indian team has won the trophy without losing any match.

The 2013 Champions Trophy was won by the unbeaten

The Indian team, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, won the Champions Trophy hosted by England in 2013 by winning all the matches without a loss. In the group stage of the ICC trophy, India defeated South Africa, West Indies, and Pakistan. In the semi-finals, it defeated Sri Lanka, and in the final match, won against host England by 5 runs. Notably, the West Indies and Australia are the teams that have won ICC trophies the most number of times while remaining undefeated.
