India: Monkey kills youth, case registered

New Delhi: A monkey caused the death of a young man in India after which the police registered a case. The deceased was the sole breadwinner of his family.

According to Indian media, the incident took place when the man was passing through a street. Meanwhile, on the second floor of a building, a monkey removed the lid of a water tank and threw down a brick placed on top of it.

The brick fell on the head of a young man passing through the alley, which caused his immediate death. People around him rushed to the spot and rushed him to the hospital, but by then he was dead.

Locals also informed the police. According to the initial police investigation, a man named Om Prakash had placed a brick on the lid of his tank in the said street.

At the time of the incident, a thirsty monkey reached there and removed the lid of the tank for drinking water, then the brick fell on the head of the person passing by and thus the person died.

According to police, the deceased had five children and was the sole breadwinner of the family.
