India is facing setbacks at the hands of China, alarming report

New Delhi: There is a fear of more clashes between the forces of China and India in the disputed mountainous region of Ladakh under the administration of India.

In this regard, a security assessment by the Ladakh Police has said that there may be more clashes between Indian and Chinese forces on this border as China has further expanded its military infrastructure in the region.

A foreign news agency According to the report According to a security assessment by the Indian police, India is gradually losing ground in Ladakh as the army is pushed into the area to buffer the border.

The report is part of a new and confidential research paper by the Ladakh Police which was presented at a conference of top police officers held from January 20 to 22 and has been reviewed in detail by Reuters.

The report said that this assessment was based on intelligence reports collected by local police in the border areas and an assessment of military tensions between India and China over the past years.

It is worth mentioning here that the review report was presented in an official conference in which the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself was present, however, the spokesperson of the Indian forces, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of External Affairs have not yet responded to this report.

On the other hand, the Chinese Foreign Ministry did not respond to a request for comment on the report.

Sources say that China’s People’s Liberation Army will continue to build military infrastructure in view of its economic interests in the region, so there will be clashes in the meantime which can be of any kind.

It should be noted that the tension between the two countries started on May 5, 2020 after a violent clash in the Pangong Lake area. A month later, the tension reached its peak when 20 Indian and Indian soldiers were killed in a clash between the two countries. 4 Chinese soldiers were killed.

After the tension escalated, both the countries started deploying thousands of heavily armed soldiers in the disputed area.
