Union Minister L. Murugan shared these exciting plans. He spoke at a recent meeting with information and public relations officials from many states. He explained that the “India Cine Hub” portal is now a single place for all film permits and needs. This means getting permission to shoot a movie anywhere across the nation will be much simpler.
Making Movies Easier and More Widespread
The goal is to create policies that are truly film-friendly. Minister Murugan, according to PTI, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership focuses on these policies. He noted that using GIS mapping tools can help the movie business grow by identifying prime locations. The recent meeting also worked to improve how the central government and states work together on public messaging. He emphasized the business side of movies and creating content. He wants local talent to shine, not just those from big cities.
