India: Federal Minister’s son trampled farmers under a vehicle, killing three

New Delhi: The son of Indian Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mashratini trampled farmers under a vehicle, killing three farmers and injuring several others.

According to foreign media, a clash took place between BJP and protesting farmers in Takonia area of ​​Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh state of India, as a result of which several farmers were killed.

The clash between the farmers and the BJP workers started when Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Kesu Prasad Moriah was scheduled to attend the program and the farmers were protesting for their demands along the way.

BJP workers tried to remove the farmers which led to a clash between the two and then BJP workers trampled the farmers under vehicles.

According to the report, one of the occupants of the vehicle was Ashish alias Mono, son of Ajay Mashratini, Federal Minister of State for Home Affairs.

As a result of the accident, three farmers died on the spot while several others were injured. After the accident, the farmers got angry and set their vehicles on fire.
