India Eyes Clean Sweep Against England in ODI Series Decider

The third One Day International (ODI) match between India and England is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the start time set at 1:30 pm Indian time. The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, is currently leading the 3-match ODI series 2-0. As a result, they will be looking to complete a clean sweep when they face England in the final match of the series.

England’s Strategy

However, England opener Ben Duckett has made some surprising comments ahead of the third ODI. Duckett stated that losing the series 3-0 would not be a significant issue for the team, and that a potential victory over India in the Champions Trophy final would be more important. This statement comes at a time when the England team, led by Jos Buttler, is facing the threat of a clean sweep, having lost the first two matches of the series to India.

Upcoming Tournament

The Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19 and will be hosted in Pakistan. The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, will start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 19, followed by a match against Pakistan on February 23. Their final league match will be against New Zealand on March 2. The Indian team will be looking to make a strong start to the tournament and build momentum for the rest of the competition.
