The latest ICC rankings are out, and India’s dominance in T20 batting is clear. Three Indian batsmen are in the top 6. Tilak Varma jumped to third, with 804 rating points.
India’s Abhishek Sharma is second, with 829 points. He played five T20 matches against England this year, hitting a century and a half-century. His last T20 against England was a stunning 135 runs off 54 balls.
The top spot belongs to Australia’s Travis Head, with 856 rating points. England’s Phil Salt and Jos Buttler are fourth and fifth, respectively. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav is sixth, with 739 points.
In the bowling rankings, Varun Chakravarthy is third, with 706 rating points. New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy is top, with 723 points. India’s Ravi Bishnoi is seventh, with 674 points, and Arshdeep Singh is tenth.
The ICC T20 all-rounder rankings have Hardik Pandya on top, with 252 rating points. He’s the only Indian in the top 10, with Axar Patel at 12th.
In team rankings, India is number one in T20, with 271 rating points. Australia is second, and England is third.
