On the fourth day, the England team, which claimed to have achieved the huge target of 399 runs based on baseball, collapsed in the final innings by 292 runs. Jasprit Bumrah has performed brilliantly while bowling for India. Bumrah picked up nine wickets in the match. While batting, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double century while Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century.

To heal the wounds suffered in Hyderabad, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss first in Visakhapatnam and decided to bat. The Indian team batted first and scored 396 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a record innings of 209 runs for India. Jaiswal hit 19 fours and 7 sixes in his innings.

India had done their job in batting and now it was the turn of bowling. After 396 runs, it was necessary for Team India to gain a big lead. In such a situation, the Indian bowlers bowled on the exact line length right from the start and did not allow the English batsmen to bowl freely. Jasprit Bumrah opened his paw for India. He took 6 wickets for 45 runs. Kuldeep Yadav also played a big role in the first innings. Kuldeep made three English batsmen his victims.

After gaining a lead of 143 runs in the first innings, Team India faltered in the second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal 17, Rohit Sharma 13, Shreyas Iyer 29 and Rajat Patidar 09 were favorably out. In such a situation, Shubman Gill took the lead and played a brilliant century innings of 104 runs, taking India’s score to over 250. Akshar Patel supported Gill well by scoring 45 runs. In this way, Team India gave England the big target of 399 runs.

Shreyas Iyer, who was a flop in batting, did wonders in fielding. Showing amazing agility, Iyer outran England captain Ben Stokes and secured victory for his team. The Indian team had scored 396 runs in the first innings. In response, the England team gave up 253 runs. In this way, Team India achieved a lead of 143 runs. After this, Rohit Brigade scored 255 runs in the second innings and set a target of 399 runs for England. In response, the visiting team collapsed for 292 runs on the fourth day. In the second innings for England, Jack Crawley scored 73 runs, wicketkeeper Ben Fox scored 36 runs and spin all-rounder Tom Hartley scored 36 runs. However, they fell 106 runs short of the target and India avenged the defeat in Hyderabad.
