India Announces U19 Squad for England Tour, Ayush Mhatre to Captain

India’s under-19 cricket team is set to tour England this month. Ayush Mhatre, who played for CSK in IPL 2025, will lead the team. The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, known for his 35-ball century in the IPL, also made the cut.

The team will play a 50-over warm-up match, five one-day matches, and two multi-day matches.

The senior men’s team will also tour England, where they’ll face off in a five-match test series. The BCCI is set to announce the squad soon. With Rohit Sharma’s retirement, the board is searching for a new captain, with Shubman Gill being a top contender.
