The second match of the ODI series being played between India and the West Indies was played on Saturday. The India team had to face defeat in this match. For the first time since December 2019, the West Indies have defeated Team India in an ODI. After losing to India in 9 consecutive ODIs, the West Indies team finally won. In this match, the management of the Indian team removed Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from the starting eleven as an experiment. Sanju Samson and Akshar Patel had a chance in his place. Questions Raised About Team India

After India recorded a comfortable win over the hosts in the series opener, captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli were left out of the field of 11 in the second ODI in Bridgetown. Rahul Dravid auditioned youngsters and World Cup hopefuls in the second ODI. However, India’s decision to rest captain Rohit and halfback Kohli backfired as the Hardik Pandya-led side lost the match by six wickets. Without superstars Rohit and Kohli, the all-rounder Axar Patel batted in the No. 4 spot, while wicket-keeper-hitter Sanju Samson fell short of expectations. Now about this former Indian starter, Aakash Chopra has released an interesting statement about the all-rounder Akshar.

what did chopra say

Aakash Chopra Said Akshar Patel Was Sent Here In No.4 – How, Why, When, Where? I have a lot of respect and admiration for Akshar, but Akshar will never play at No. 4. What are the chances of him playing for India at No. 4 from a World Cup or Asian Cup perspective? I don’t see him playing 50+ cricket there.

Openers Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill played crucial innings for India in the second ODI against West Indies. Middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed for 24 runs on 25 balls, while substitute captain Pandya was dismissed for 7 runs on 14 balls. India could only manage 181 runs in 40.5 overs and without Rohit the team lost the match by six wickets.
