KL Rahul is disappointed after being ruled out of the T20 series against South Africa. He was named captain of Team India for this series but had to sit out due to injury. Now Rishabh Pant has been given command of the Indian team in his place. In one of his tweets, KL Rahul has said that Pant and his team have “the best of luck” for the series. Along with this, he also expressed his regret at not being a part of this series.
KL Rahul has written: ‘(Being out of the team) is hard to accept, but I am starting a new (fitness) challenge from today. Disappointed not being able to lead the team for the first time in the home series, but I have full support for the team. All the best to Rishabh and the entire series team. See you soon.’
Difficult to accept, but today I start another challenge. Gutted that I’m not leading the team for the first time at home, but the boys have my full support from the bench. Thank you all for your support. Wishing Rishabh and the boys all the luck for the series. See you soon🏏💙
