IND vs PAK CWG 2022: The Indian women’s cricket team defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets in their second match of the 2022 Commonwealth Games. In the first match, the Indian team got the first victory still after giving stiff competition to Australia. On the other hand, Pakistan have suffered two consecutive losses after falling to India after Barbados and their road ahead has become very difficult. The match was reduced to 18-18 overs due to rain and the entire Pakistan team made 99 runs in 18 overs. In response, India chased the goal in 11.1 overs for the loss of two wickets.
The starter and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana had a great start for India and completed her fifty with 31 balls. Her fellow starter Shefali Verma scored 16 runs from 9 balls and made a brilliant 61 runs for the first wicket. Smriti played an undefeated 63 from 42 balls and stayed until the last. Bowlers took power from Pakistan
Indian bowlers defeated Pakistan with 99 runs from 18 overs in a Commonwealth Games women’s cricket match here on the back of a brilliant power play. The start of the match was delayed 45 minutes due to light drizzle, reducing it to 18 overs. Muniba Ali was the top scorer for Pakistan with 32 runs. Apart from them, Alia Riaz chipped in 18 and captain Bismah Maroof chipped in 17 runs.
