Jamieson got off to a stellar start in test cricket and has 46 wickets to his name in just eight test matches. He is on the India tour for the first time with the national team. “I haven’t played much cricket here,” Jamieson told Stuff.CO.NZ. I participated in the first leg of the IPL (Indian Premier League) which was good, but it will be completely different.

“Wags (Neil Wagner) and Timmy (Tim Southee) are here with me so it would be nice to know their opinion, it would be nice to hear about their bowling experience here,” he said.

Jamieson played a key role by winning three Test matches against India, including the World Test Championship final. However, in the presence of Saudi and Wagner, they are unlikely to find a place in the XI of play in the first test against India.
