The Indian cricket team has gone to Ireland. The team’s lead spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, gave this information by tweeting the photo on social media. In addition to Chahal, team starter Rituraj Gaikwad and all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer were also seen at the airport.
Players’ match images were also shared from the official Twitter handles of Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. While CSK shared photos of Yuzvendra Chahal and Rituraj Gaikwad, KKR shared Venkatesh Iyer.
Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, the Indian team will play a two-legged T20 series against Ireland from June 26. In this series, the command of India will be in the hands of Hardik Pandya, the experienced bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the vice-captain. Dinesh Karthik has become the team’s main goalkeeper. Apart from all this, Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson are also part of the team. The India team captain and head coach are new to the tour of Ireland. Former VVS batsman Laxman has been appointed as the Indian coach for this series.
It is worth noting that the Indian main team is present in England under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, playing a four-day warm-up match with Leicestershire from today. Following this, he will play a one-off test and then a limited overs series against England from 1 July.
