India vs England Test Series: The Indian team has to host the English cricket team in Afghanistan. The five-match Test series between the two teams begins on January 25. This series runs until March 11th. The England team has also started preparations for this series. But even before it came to India, there were already statements from England on Indian pitches.

The fear of changing the pitch continues to haunt England

Former England captain Nasir Hussain advised India not to prepare turning throws during the five-Test series and said that in such a situation, the visiting team's spinners could also prove effective. England have retained four spinners in their team for the India tour, including Jack Leach and Rehan Ahmed, as well as Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir, who are yet to win international caps. At the same time, India also retained four spinners in their team in the first two Test matches in Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

The former England captain made a big statement on the pitch

Hussain said on the Sky Sports Cricket Podcast that I believe they should prepare a good pitch that needs some spin because that will give equal opportunities to both their spinners and their batsmen. He said if they prepared a pitch that required a lot of spin, it could be like a lottery and this would also increase the role of England spinners in the game. Because of the way baseball works, they can't get caught easily.

England will play with baseball strategy

India's attempt to prepare a spin pitch in 2012-13 failed. Back then, Graeme Swann and Monty Panesar played an important role in England's 2-1 series win by keeping the Indian batsmen captive. Hussain also said that Indian fans will also be excited to see how their team thwarts England's baseball strategy. He said there was a lot of talk about Indian cricket and a lot of talk about baseball too. When I went to the World Cup, I felt that a lot of Indian fans were excited to see their team fail at baseball.
