Rishabh Pant scored a fantastic century on day one of the fifth Test against England at Edgbaston. He got India out of a sticky situation by playing a 146-run innings. Now all the cricket legends are doing ballads in praise of Rishabh.
Former cricketers tied bridges of praise
All ex-cricketers have described Pant’s innings as “special innings played under pressure”. Pant and Ravindra Jadeja shared a record partnership of 222 runs after India fell by five of 98 on the first day of the match. On Pant’s tackles and his association with Jadeja, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: “Fantastic Rishabh Pant! Excellent. Ravindra Jadeja’s big tackles too. Sachin has played the majority of his career matches under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly. So where was former India captain and BCCI chairman Sourav Ganguly to be left behind?
