IND vs ENG 1st Test Match: The first day of the Hyderabad Test match between India and England was held on behalf of Team India. The English team, which came first in this game, failed to get a big score. After that, the bowlers couldn't do anything special either. After the first team game, a player from the English national team made a big statement.
Fear spread throughout the England team!
England opener Ben Duckett believes England's score of 246 runs in the first innings was good but he did not expect Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma to bat aggressively as soon as they started the innings on the first day of the first Test . Till stumps, India had scored 119 runs after losing a wicket and Jaiswal is present at the wicket after scoring 76 runs. Jaiswal put together an 80-run partnership with Rohit in just 12.2 overs.
Ben Duckett made this big statement
Duckett said in the post-match press conference that I thought we got a good result. It was a tricky pitch for the first day with the ball spinning non-stop from the start. Stokes played brilliantly. I would say when the third or fourth day comes and the field becomes difficult to bat on, then his innings could have won the game.
Duckett praised the great start from India's openers but said it was a sign that the pitch was gradually deteriorating. Duckett said he gets credit. He played well and was very aggressive. They don't always play like that. Therefore, his play shows that he probably feels that this place will get worse in the future. Duckett defended his teammates' sweep and reverse-sweep shots, saying it wasn't a sign of negligence. “We weren’t sloppy today,” Duckett said. In my opinion we played well and players who normally play with a strike rate of 150 rotated the ball well.
