IND vs AUS: Veteran kangaroo’s statement on loss against India said: not the batsmen but the bowling.

The Kangaroo team is trailing 2-0 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. The Australian team had to face defeat in the Delhi Test after Nagpur. After two consecutive defeats in this series, the Australian team has to face criticism. The veterans are constantly giving their opinion on the loss of the Australian team. Now former Australian player and Indian team coach Greg Chappell has made a big statement. Actually, he said that Australia made a mistake in selecting their own team. The Kangaroo team management selected more spinners in view of the conditions, while pace bowling has been the strong side of the team.

Greg Chappell said that the Kangaroo team management had to select their best bowlers, but did not. He said Mike Tyson had said before he fought Evander Holyfield that until someone gets punched in the mouth, he says he has a plan. I think the Aussies punched each other in the face a long time ago without even throwing a single ball. Also, he says that if Australia were to win this series, then they had to play to their strength, but they didn’t.

Greg Chappell, former Australian player and coach of the Indian team, further said that spin bowling is not our forte, spinners are selected with conditions in mind. In this way you cannot succeed in India. He says we had to select our best bowlers, show confidence, but we didn’t. Also, he said other than that, good hitting was necessary, but our hitters disappointed.
