India’s new test captain Rohit Sharma said on Wednesday that he has no problem playing all formats while in the biobubble and will only take breaks when he feels the need to. Rohit Sharma was appointed India’s new test captain for the two-leg test series against Sri Lanka after Virat Kohli relinquished the test captaincy after losing the series on the tour of South Africa.

On captaining all three formats ahead of India’s three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, Rohit said: “At the moment, I have no problem playing all formats and I am looking forward to playing all matches.”

He said: “The workload always depends on what happens after that and how you take it day to day. If you feel the need for a break, take a break and someone else will take your place. The Indian captain further said: “You see how he can fill the other guy, what kind of ability he has. For now, everything is fine.”

He said: “It is a great honor and a great feeling to be the captain of India in all three formats. I have so many challenges ahead of me. I am very happy with this responsibility. We have great players in our team to lead them on the pitch with enthusiasm for. “
