  • Mohammad Siraj will miss Round 3 due to injury, Kohli confirms.
  • Siraj managed to take a total of 3 wickets in both entrances of the first Test.

Ahead of the third test match played between India and South Africa, great news has arrived about fast pitcher Mohammad Siraj. In fact, Mohammad Siraj has been left out of the third test due to injury. Captain Virat Kohli gave this information at the press conference prior to the third Test.

Kohli said Siraj, who was injured during India’s 7-field loss in the second test in Johannesburg, will miss the third and final test. Siraj has a muscle injury to his leg.

Siraj was injured while bowling in the first innings of the second game, after which it was feared that he would miss out on the third test. Now Kohli has stamped this. Siraj was able to take a total of 3 wickets in both innings of the first test, while he was unable to take a single wicket in the second match.

Besides Siraj, Kohli also mentioned Ravindra Jadeja at the press conference. Kohli said: “Everyone is aware of the value of Jadeja, but Ashwin has done well in this series. Ashwin is giving all his contribution to the team. Jadeja is injured and Ashwin is making a valuable contribution in his absence.”
