IND v NZ: Kyle Jamieson retired from T20 series against India, here’s why

Jaipur New Zealand pacemaker Kyle Jamieson has withdrawn from the three-game T20I series to focus on the upcoming test series against India. Jamieson joins the ranks of Captain Kane Williamson, who decided to retire from the T20I to prepare for the two-game test series that begins on November 25. The Test series will be the first series of the new cycle of the World Test Championship.

According to Stuff.CO.NZ, Coach Gary Stead said: “After talking to Kane and Kyle, we decided they would not play in the T20 series.” He said: “You will both prepare for the test matches and for me. It seems like you find that some of the other players on the test team won’t even play the whole series.,

“It’s time to strike a balance with three T20 games in five days and travel to three different cities,” Stead said. It’s a very busy time. ”New Zealand won the first World Trials Championship in July this year by defeating India by eight wickets in Southampton, England.
