Incapto was born in the midst of a pandemic, in June 2020, to provide a solution to new coffee consumption habits in Spain. The company promotes the consumption of superior quality specialty coffee, along with a super-automatic coffee maker that It allows you to taste freshly ground coffee, with the immediacy and comfort associated with capsules, but with a natural product and without generating unnecessary waste.
Through its business model, which consists of subscribing coffee to both individuals and companies, In less than two years of life, Incapto has managed to close 2021 with more than 10,000 customers, a large part of them subscribers, and more than 500 businesses connected to its business coffee platform. Thanks to these numbers, the startup closed 2021 with a turnover of €2.3M.
The funds obtained by the company in this round will allow it to expand commercially throughout the Spanish territory, both at a B2B and B2C level. The forecasts of the startup indicate that it will start its international expansion at the end of 2022 in Italy, France and Portugal. In addition, Incapto will use the funds acquired to develop new models of coffee machines and continue with its expansion of pop up in shopping centers.
Company and market estimates anticipate strong growth this year and the entire 2020-25 period, where the company expects the coffee market to make a significant turnaround with a decrease in capsule consumption.
