Amazon announces the appointment of Iñaki Ugarte as the new General Manager of Amazon Customer Fulfillment in Spain. Specifically, the manager will be in charge of managing an area that employs more than 11,000 people.
So, it will be in charge of the company’s nine logistics centers in our country: The Prat of Llobregat (Catalonia), The Far d’Emporda (Catalonia), Alcala de Henares (Madrid), San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), both from Illescas (Castilla-La Mancha), Murcia (Murcia), Two sisters (Andalusia) and Vibe (Valencian Community).
Ugarte joined Amazon in 2014
Iñaki Ugarte joined Amazon in 2014 as part of pathways. It is a professional development program aimed at MBA graduates with high potential. Since then, his role has been linked to positions of responsibility and the launch of new centers, including the first robotic center of the company in Spain.
On the other hand, he has been the director of Amazon logistics centers in Two sisters (Seville) and illescas (Toledo), since he held until this appointment.
