In the Philippines, 31 people, including children, died in a boat fire

A tragic incident has taken place in the Philippines where 31 people have lost their lives while 7 people are missing due to a fire in a boat.

According to Al Jazeera’s report, a boat caught fire late at night in the southern region of the Philippines. The boat was on its way from Sulu province to Jolo town, where the boat caught fire near Basilan Island. There were 250 crew and passengers in the boat. 31 people have died in the tragic incident of the boat fire. Three children are also among the dead.

The incident was so severe that people jumped into the sea to save their lives, while the Philippine Coast Guard personnel on the spot immediately rescued 212 people with the help of boats.

According to Al Jazeera, 23 people have been injured in this incident so far.
