Emirati authorities have provided ‘On Demand Bus Service’ facility to provide comfortable travel to the citizens, starting from today.

According to an Arab News report, the Department of Local Government and Transport in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, has launched an ‘on-demand bus service’ for comfortable travel, which will be used through a mobile application.

The ‘Abu Dhabi Link’ service on Saadiyat Island is launching today, January 28, which will provide more comfortable travel facilities to those traveling in public transport.

The Department of Local Government and Transport says that initially this service will be absolutely free on Saadiyat Island, and will be available to the citizens from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

It may be recalled that the on-demand bus service was first launched in Shahamah in 2020, after which the service was launched in Yas Island in 2021, which has so far benefited more than two and a half lakh people.
