Imran’s government put arms in front of this terrorist organization, announced a ceasefire

Islamabad. The whole world knows how much the Imran government of Pakistan stands against the extremists. Imran Khan, who once held power in Pakistan promising action against terrorists, now seems compelled to accept his defeat. Now, the Pakistani government has announced a month-long ceasefire with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, a leading terrorist organization responsible for several attacks against security forces and civilians in the past 14 years.

Imran’s government spokesman Fawad Chaudhry reported on Twitter that the Taliban interim government in Afghanistan helped establish a ceasefire between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the ‘Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’ or TTP. In a statement, TTP spokesman Mohammad Khurasani confirmed that the ceasefire, which began on November 9, would continue until December 9, during which time both sides would form a committee to continue talks. He said that both sides would respect the ceasefire. The agreement came amid peace talks between the government and the TTP that began last month. Chowdhury said the ceasefire could be extended if talks continue.

Let us tell you that the maximum penetration of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is in the border areas of Pakistan-Afghanistan. There are many such places here, where the Pakistani army also seems very defenseless against Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. TTP wants to overthrow the Pakistani security forces and the government under its target. Although the Pakistani army had also carried out an operation against them, which also achieved some success, a large number of Pakistani security forces were also killed. Because it is a border area, Pakistan also looks very weak in front of them.

Although TLP has carried out numerous attacks in Pakistan, in which thousands of people have died. The attacks on the Peshawar Army School (killing 141 people, including 132 children) and the attack on the Karachi airport are considered prominent. TTP is also known as the Pakistani Taliban. It is allegedly using the territory of Afghanistan to plan terrorist attacks against Pakistan. The Pakistani government is now using the influence of the Taliban in Afghanistan to try to negotiate a peace deal with the TTP and stop the violence. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed in an interview last month that his government was in talks with the TTP for a “reconciliation” with the help of the Taliban in Afghanistan. He was highly criticized by many politicians and many people who became victims of terrorism for this matter. Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid defended the government’s move, saying the talks were for a “good Taliban.”
