According to Saudi media, the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah has announced the initial plan for Hajj 2024 (1445). The implementation of the program will be started from September 16, 2023.
According to Uqal News, Hajj Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiyyah has said that the work for Hajj 2024 will be started practically in advance so that the companies can have time to prepare to provide better facilities to Hajj pilgrims.
The Saudi Minister of Hajj told the media that seminars will be organized for the upcoming Hajj, digital registration of licensed companies will be started.
Civil aviation related matters will be finalized for agreement with airlines. Hajj packages will be notified on November 4, 2023 (20 Rabi al-Thani 1445 AH).
Regarding the next year’s Hajj program, the Hajj Minister said that on January 8, 2024, a seminar and exhibition on Hajj services will be held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in which details of all the facilities provided to the Hajj pilgrims will be presented. will
On February 25, 2024, the accommodation issues for the Hajj pilgrims will be finalized.
He further said that the countries that will sign the Hajj agreement first will have the right to get accommodation of their choice in the holy places (Muna, Muzdalifah, Arafat) for their pilgrims.
Regarding the issuance of Hajj visas, he said that the issuance of digital visas will start from March 1, 2024 (Shaban 20, 1445 Hijri), which will continue until April 29, 2024.
According to him, Hajj flights will start arriving in the kingdom from May 9, 2024 (1st Dhul-Qa’da 1445).
