Riyadh: 15 universities in Saudi Arabia have been included in the list of the best universities in the world, last year the number was 10.
According to the Saudi website, the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, has said that 15 universities of Saudi Arabia have been included in the best universities of the world. The Minister of Education also congratulated the top leadership of the kingdom in this regard.
The Minister of Education said that compared to the year 2020, our universities have made good progress during the year 2021.
Last year, only 10 universities in the country were included in the list of the best universities in the world according to the Times rankings, but this year their number has increased to 15, an improvement of 50% over last year.
The Minister of Education pointed out that earlier in the ranking of Shanghai and also in the ranking of QS, the number of Saudi universities joining the ranks of the best universities in the world was recorded. This shows that our universities are becoming competitors of world class universities.
