Important decisions in the Saudi cabinet meeting

Riyadh: The Saudi cabinet meeting approved the agreement to transfer prisoners from Pakistan.

According to Arab media reports, a cabinet meeting chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz was held at the royal palace in which important issues of Saudi Arabia were considered.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz presided over the cabinet meeting for the first time since the Corona epidemic.

Agreements reached with friendly countries were discussed in the cabinet meeting and 10 agreements were ratified at the end of the cabinet meeting.

The Saudi cabinet approved an agreement on the transfer of prisoners from Pakistan, and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the fight against the illicit drug trade.

The cabinet expressed concern over the Houthi rebels ‘attacks on other countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, and demanded that the UN Security Council take note of the Houthi rebels’ continued actions.

The cabinet also approved draft agreements with various countries on cooperation in combating drug trafficking.

The meeting also approved a cooperation agreement between the World Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Tourism.
