RIYADH: How can the exodus promise be canceled during the specified period?, Saudi authorities released the details.

In Saudi Arabia, according to the law of jurisprudence, people who go on a promise to leave are bound to return to the kingdom at the appointed time.

If there is no intention to return within the stipulated time, then it is necessary to extend the period of exit promise to the concerned person.

A person on Juzaat’s Twitter inquired that the domestic driver had been issued an exit visa. There is time left in the visa period, will there be a penalty for canceling it?

In response to the question, Juzaat said that ‘Exit warrant issued to any foreign iqama holder can be canceled during its fixed period, however, the fee deposited for the exit warrant is non-refundable.

It should be noted that a fine of 1000 riyals is imposed in case of expiry of the fixed period of return.

In case of non-payment of the fine, the worker’s file is confiscated and the renewal of Iqama is not possible until the fine is paid.

It should be noted that the expatriates living in the country who are living with their families must pay the monthly fee imposed on each person, which is 400 riyals this year.
