Ajman: The ruler of Ajman has donated a hefty sum of four million dirhams to low-income families.
According to media reports, Sheikh Hameed bin Rashid Al Naeemi, a member of the Supreme Council and ruler of Ajman, has issued orders to distribute four million dirhams to low-income and low-privileged families in Ajman. The 40th anniversary of the rule of Ajman is being celebrated.
As Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hamid bin Rashid Al Naeemi Charity Foundation, Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council and Crown Prince of Ajman Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al Naeemi will ensure the implementation of this initiative.
Sheikha Azha bint Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, director of the charity foundation, said the donation from the ruler of Ajman would be distributed to low-income families, adding that four million dirhams would be distributed in 2,000 cards. Each card will contain 2,000 dirhams, which will enable Ajman Markets to purchase basic necessities from the operative society.
