Important advice from Ganguly to the selectors, this player should be in the World Cup team, not in the Asian Games

The ICC ODI World Cup will begin in India from October 5, for which all the teams do not have much time to prepare. The Indian team is also hell-bent on getting rid of all their problems so that they can enter the mega-event in full force. For his part, the former captain of India, Sourav Ganguly, while giving important advice to the selectors, has given a message to include Yashasvi Jaiswal in the World Cup team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has started her international career brilliantly. He played an excellent innings of 171 runs in his first Test match against the West Indies. Since then, many former veterans have been seen continually praising his talent. Now the name of Sourav Ganguly has also been included.

Sourav Ganguly said in an interview to The Telegraph about Yashasvi Jaiswal that scoring a debut Test century is a big deal for any player. I’ve done this too, so I know how special it is. Yashasvi has looked much better in terms of technique. Due to the presence of a better left-handed hitter in the team’s top order, pressure is also put on the opposing team. From my point of view, he should stay in the World Cup team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s selection in the 2023 squad now looks almost impossible, the main reason being that he has already been included in the 2023 Asian Games squad. In these games played in China, the cricket event will be held until on October 8, while in India, the World Cup will start on the same October 5. Other than this, Yashasvi has not been selected in the squad for the ODI series against the West Indies, so the selectors are not thinking of playing him in the ODI format.
