‘I’m not good enough’ university student commits suicide

Tamil Nadu: A student of the Institute of Technology in Madras, India has committed suicide after updating his status on WhatsApp.

According to an Indian media report, a 32-year-old PhD student of Madras Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu, India committed suicide. The police say that the student belonged to West Bengal.

According to the local police, Sachin, a PhD scholar, posted a status on WhatsApp before committing suicide, which read ‘Sorry, I’m not that good’. He was found hanging.

According to the police, an ambulance was called and Sachin was examined, after which he was declared brought dead.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras expressed regret in a statement, saying that the research student had an excellent academic record, and his departure is a great loss to the research community.

It should be noted that at the beginning of this year in India, a third-year B.Tech student and a PhD scholar committed suicide at the Chennai campus of the Indian Institute of Technology.
