Ileana D’Cruz is expecting her second child with husband Michael. Recently, she took to Instagram Stories to share a fan’s comment on one of her previous posts. The fan wrote, “People, especially children, should be taught that being cruel, wicked, unkind, or selfish are not lovable traits and you won’t get love. You shouldn’t reward people for being like that either. Love, like respect and happiness, must be earned. And it’s not wrong to chase love. We just need to teach kids not to run after people’s reactions to our positive qualities, but to make sure people come to us on their own.”
Ileana’s Thoughts on Parenting
Sharing the fan’s comment, Ileana added her own thoughts on parenting. She wrote, “I will never want my kids to feel like they need to earn my love. That’s the worst feeling I’ve ever had. Not feeling good enough. I want to raise happy, healthy, kind kids. I’m sure all parents do. I’ll do my best to make sure they know how much they’re loved. This is definitely what I believe and my opinion. Do what you will.”
Ileana announced her second pregnancy in February this year. She had married Michael in 2023 and announced her first pregnancy in April that year. The actress is active on social media, often sharing her thoughts on pregnancy and parenting.
