Iftar mahfil of Indo Bangla Press Club in Kolkata

Iftar mahfil was organized by Indo Bangla Press Club in Kolkata. Today Monday, the first and only press club of journalists working in Bangladeshi media in India had a total of 15 kinds of posts including fruits and dates.

Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Andalib Ilyas based in Kolkata, Visa Head Almas Hossain and First Secretary Press, Ranjan Sen Club President Kingshuk Chakraborty and Secretary Shubojit Puttunda participated in the Iftar. It was organized at the Press Club.

In this regard, the spokesperson of the club, Deepak Debnath, said, “Iftar has been organized in the same way as we wished each other by exchanging hilsa on the occasion of Durga Puja. We are with everyone.

Vice-president Satyajit Chakraborty said, this is how we will celebrate the festivals of all religions every year. Such arrangements will be made on a larger scale in the coming days.

Indo Bangla Press Club consisting of media workers from both countries. The motto of the Press Club is ‘Journalists with journalists by their side’. The Press Club thinks, ‘Religion belongs to everyone, this country belongs to everyone and the festival belongs to everyone.’
