“If you want to do housework or not, girls should tell you before marriage”

New Delhi: An Indian court has said in its decision that if a girl does not want to do housework after marriage, she should tell before marriage so that the boy can decide whether to marry her or not.

According to Indian media, a woman filed an FIR against her husband and in-laws in Mumbai, the case was heard by the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay (Mumbai) High Court.

The woman had accused her husband and in-laws of treating her like servants after marriage, her in-laws also demanded Rs 4 lakh to buy a car.

The woman said that the in-laws threatened to throw her out of the house and also subjected her parents to mental torture.

The bench judges have ordered to quash the FIR, the court said that if the girl does not want to do housework after marriage, she should tell before the marriage so that the boy can decide whether to marry her or not. .

The court also said that making a married girl do housework does not mean treating the girl as an employee.
