Yuzvendra Chahal
Recently, the Indian team’s 15-member squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup was announced. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal did not get a place in this squad. Afterwards there was a great uproar. Now he has made a big statement in Star Sports’ virtual press conference that he will not include Chahal in the World Cup team. He even said that if Chahal had played for another country, he would have always got a place in the playing XI.

Harbhajan Singh said in this case that Chahal was a match winner. If he had played for another country, he would always have been in the playing eleven. After proving himself so well, he should have been on the team. If I had been in team management, I would definitely have chosen him. We all want Indian cricket to do well. Chahal and Arshdeep Singh would have been effective in the World Cup. India will miss both of them.
While Harbhajan Singh Suryakumar described Yadav as the ‘X-factor’ of the Indian team. He said Suryakumar Yadav is the complete package. I don’t think there is a better batsman in India than him, the way he bats. The way he bats at number five or six, I don’t think even Virat, Rohit or Sanju can do it.
Harbhajan Singh also spoke about Arshdeep Singh
Former off-spinner Harbhajan Singh said: “I think India’s World Cup squad is missing two people.” Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh should have been in the team. Arshdeep could prove useful as a left-arm fast bowler. Bhajji said that he had the ability to take two wickets in the beginning. I’m not saying right-handed bowlers can’t do this, but a left-handed bowler’s angle is better for it.
