Idrissa Dioh Ends 13-Month Injury Hell, Returns for Oliveirense

Over a year has passed since Idrissa Dioh last felt the turf under his boots in a competitive game. This talented French midfielder finally made his official return. He stepped onto the field for Oliveirense during injury time in their home draw against P. Ferreira. It was a brief moment, but a huge stride in his long journey back to the team from Oliveira de Azeméis.

Those few minutes of play, though short, marked the end of a personal ordeal. Oliveirense brought Dioh in during the summer of 2024. He quickly found his rhythm, featuring in the first four league games of the season. Then, a ruptured cruciate ligament in his knee stopped him cold last September. It was a tough break that put his progress on hold for a very long time.

Before he joined Oliveirense, Dioh was a key player in another success story. He helped AVS SAD earn promotion to the 1st League. His return now brings a glimmer of hope. It signals a new chapter for both the player and his club.
