ICC Released Women’s ODI Rankings, Deepti and Richa Ghosh Benefited Despite Team India’s Loss

<p estilo="text alignment: justify;"India's Deepti Sharma has improved two places to 18th in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI batsmen rankings released on Tuesday. While Richa Ghosh has jumped 15 places to position 54. ="text alignment: justify;"The Indian women's team's performance in the series against New Zealand so far has been disappointing, but there have been some positives in qualifying. Deepti, who posted an unbeaten 69 in the third ODI, improved two places to 18th in the batsmen's standings. While his four wickets in the second ODI took him six places to number 13 on the list of bowlers. He remains in fourth position on the list of versatile.

<p style="text alignment: justify;"Young goalkeeper Richa improved her ranking by 15 places to No. 54, thanks to her 65-run hit in the second ODI. Star starter Smriti Mandhana was not part of the team for the first three ODIs due to her being in quarantine, but she remains in eighth place in the standings. She has jumped 21 spots in the batting rankings to sit at 22nd and in the all-rounder rankings she has improved seven spots to sit at number six. Her New Zealand teammate Lauren Down also got off to a good start in qualifying after scoring an unbeaten 64 from 52 balls in the third ODI. She climbed 14 places to reach the top 50 and is ranked 49th in the batting rankings.
