Young Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling has been banned. The ICC has imposed this prohibition on him. This decision has been made due to the illegal bowling action of this Pakistani bowler, who bowled the ball at a speed of over 150 km/h.
There was a complaint about Hasnain’s bowling action during the match between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers on January 2 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. After this his action was investigated in Lahore. The investigation report was analyzed in Australia and it was found that his bowling action was illegal. On this, the ICC has banned him from bowling until the next investigation is correct. However, the ICC had left it to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to decide whether to play its domestic tournaments. On this, the PCB has also decided not to allow him to bowl at the moment.
The PCB has issued a statement which reads: “Considering the future of Mohammad Hasnain, the Pakistan Cricket Board, following the recommendations of the PSL 2022 Technical Committee, has decided that he will not be allowed to bowl in this league. national”.
Alongside this, the PCB has also talked about appointing a consultant bowling alley to improve Hasnain’s bowling action. The PCB has said: “Mohammed Hasnain will now change bowling action from him with the help of a PCB appointed bowling consultant and return to international cricket as soon as possible.”
