Ibexa appoints new CEO at a time of record results

ibexthe provider of the digital experience platform (DXP) dedicated to B2B, has achieved record results during the first half of 2022. It has been achieved by its clear strategy to help B2B companies with their digital transformation in a gradual process and by strengthening its ecosystem of partners. The last six months marked the beginning of a new stage of growth and expansion for Ibexa, when the company joined QNTM Group at the end of last year.

40% growth in new sales

The company has experienced results in the first half of 2022 that have exceeded its expectations. Although Ibexa has reached quarterly records for the last two years, the first half of 2022 shows marked year-on-year growth in 40% on new sales. “We have experienced a market pull resulting from a clear product-market adjustment in Europe”, commented Bertrand Maugain, new CEO of Ibexa.

“It’s great to see the traction in the market and enabling B2B companies to grapple with the complexities of their business models in this challenging post-Covid era. These results show that the market understands the value of a DXP dedicated to B2B”.

In the same period, the average customer lifespan increased from 7 to 8.5 years, far exceeding the industry standard. This underlines that Ibexa DXP also has a long-term strategic impact and future-proof innovation in B2B digital transformation.

Change of CEO and hiring of 50 new employees

To sustain this growth and add to Ibexa’s large pool of talent, an ambitious hiring plan (in R&D and Sales and Marketing) will increase the number of employees by 50% in the next 12 months. In addition, a change in leadership came into force on July 1, with Bertrand Maugain (who has been working at Ibexa since 2004) taking over as CEO of the company, while former CEO Morten Ingebrigtsen will continue his tenure. at Ibexa and becomes SVP Product & Strategy.
