Upcoming Events and Changes
Ibai will not be doing live streams from Campanadas, an event that has been taking place since 2021. However, he will be hosting Ibainéfico, a charity event with proceeds going to the victims and towns affected by DANA.
Three main events will continue on the Ibai channel: The Year 5 Evening, the Kings League World Cup, and the LoL World Cup. Additionally, two new events related to video games will be introduced, featuring collaborations with other streamers and a focus on challenges.
Ibai’s Decision to Leave Twitch
Ibai rejected an offer from Twitch and a ‘briefing’ from Kick, opting instead to focus on his YouTube channel. He estimates that he will do around 500 hours of streaming per year, a significant reduction from his current 1300-1400 hours per year.
Ibai expressed his excitement about this new chapter in his life, stating that he needs to try new adventures and feels motivated about creating content for YouTube.
YouTube: Ibai’s New Adventure
Ibai plans to invest the 900 hours he previously spent on Twitch into his YouTube channel. He aims to create content with production, events, and trips, but emphasizes that he will not be trying to be MrBeast in Spain.
Ibai’s YouTube channel will feature a large team behind the scenes, working on many of its pieces. The channel is expected to have a great production value, with new content set to be released in January or early February.
