Hanuman Vihari: Hanuma Vihari had quit the captaincy of the Andhra Pradesh team after the first match of the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. Now the Andhra Pradesh team faced a four-run defeat against Madhya Pradesh in the quarterfinals. With this, the team from Andhra Pradesh will be eliminated from the 2024 Ranji Trophy season. After this, Hanuma Vihari made a big statement that he was quitting the captaincy. He has also announced that he will never play for the Andhra Pradesh team again.

Hanuma Vihari made serious allegations

Hanuma Vihari wrote on Instagram that the sad thing is that the union believes that the players have to listen to everything they say and that the players are there because of them. I have decided that I will never play for Andhra where I have lost my self-respect. I love the team. I like the way we’ve made progress every season, but the union doesn’t want us to make progress.

I was captain in the first game against Bengal. During the game I shouted at the 17th player and he complained to his father (who is a politician). In return, his father asked the Sangh to take action against me. We were chasing 410 runs against Bengal, who made it to the final last year, but through no fault of my own I was asked to resign as captain.

“Didn’t say anything personal”

Hanuma Bihari said, I never said anything to the player personally but the association felt that the player is more important than the person who put his body at risk last year. I was embarrassed, but the only reason I continued playing this season was because I respect the game and my team.

Prudhavi Raj said this

In this case, the player is KN Prudhvi Raj, who accused Vihari on Instagram of making false claims. Raj wrote on his Instagram story: Hello everyone! I’m the same guy you’re looking for in the comment box. Whatever you have heard is absolutely wrong, nothing is better than exercise and my self respect is way higher than anything else. Personal attacks and foul language are not acceptable on any human platform. Everyone on the team knows what happened that day.

His Hanuma Vihari shared a copy of a statement with signatures of other players of the Andhra Pradesh team on his social media account. In it he wrote that the entire team knows about it. The copy shared by Vihari on social media. It said that the entire team wants him to remain captain of the Andhra Pradesh team.
