Deep Dasgupta says that given the current selection, it looks like Team India's core squad will remain the same that lost the semi-final against England in the 2022 T20 World Cup. He also feels that in such a situation, it will be difficult for an excellent finisher like Rinku Singh to get a chance in the playing XI. Deep Dasgupta says there should have been some direction in the selection of India's T20 squad at this point. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have not played a single T20 match at the international level since the last T20 World Cup.
